Puzzles and ploughmans’
Quiz and ploughmans’ suppers at the WI August meeting.
“Is this a trial for Mastermind?” a member was heard to utter as we applied ourselves to the August quiz (taken from the WI quiz book.) Replete with a tasty “Ploughman’s” followed by delicious cupcakes our teams of four people were stretched in all directions by the questions, and much intelligent guesswork and hilarity ensued.
A really good time was had by the large gathering of members and guests.
