WI June 2010

Confessions of a rookie diplomat.

photo: Charles Butcher

Peter AutiePeter Autie (left), speaker at the June WI meeting, and his wife Yvonne lived the high life in Kathmandu in the 1980s where he acted as Air Liaison Officer, and revelled in it.

We laughed at misinterpretations of language (both English and Nepali) and at actions that obviously ignited an acting career.

But they were not the only inspiring people at the meeting, as our Open Village display boards on Inspiring Women (our innovative members), were also on show for all to see, (as was the CIP computer for instant access to WI activities on line.)
