Stanhoe’s pub
Our village pub, the Duck Inn (tel 01485 518 330, email info@duckinn.co.uk), is just past the main pond on the road to Burnham Market.
The Duck is a tied house belonging to Elgood’s brewery, Wisbech.
The Duck re-opened in July 2010 after extensive redevelopment, including a change of name — the pub was formerly known as the Crown.
The redevelopment work has included moving the main entrance to the car park side of the building, turning the whole of the current pub into a series of dining rooms, and creating a new bar area. The pub also has two comfortable guest rooms.
